Since building my own website with Squarespace, I was asked by many of my existing clients to help create websites for them. It’s something I’ve really enjoyed, and once it got to the 5th or 6th site, I thought it was about time I offered it as a standalone service!

The way I work differs slightly from most web design companies. I work with you to build a site you’re completely happy with, and transfer ownership to you with a full explanation of how to maintain the site yourself. It is important to me that clients have control of their website and that they’re not held to ransom over it! Of course I can always stay on as a contributor, should you wish to instruct me to make changes in the future.

Once I have your requirements, I can provide a straightforward proposal based on the estimated time involved, and set you up with a hosting plan with Squarespace that meets your needs. The average cost of the websites I build is around £450, although this can vary depending on functionality and content requirements. (Examples here, here, and here).

Alongside simple brochure-style websites, I also build e-commerce stores, booking systems for appointments and workshops, and other practical small business websites.
